Gluten Free Bagel w/Ham & Cheese

GF Bagel Sandwich Comment: We couldn’t survive without “a bagel” be it first thing in the morning, mid-morning or a late night snack so we always have a supply of frozen bagels at the ready. Sometimes to satisfy a GF appetite you need to do something extraordinary but at the same time you need to do it quickly, and here’s our solution.
Cooking time:
10 minutes
Serves:
1
Ingredients:
1 bagel of choice (from your frozen supply)
1 slice of cooked ham
2 slice of white American Cheese
1 x-large egg
1 tsp milk Salt & pepper to taste

Preparation:Gluten Free Bagel w/Ham & Cheese
  1. When preparing a frozen bagel place it on a paper plate and defrost for 30 seconds in a micro. Then, flip the bagel on to the other side and give that 30 seconds. After this, place the bagel on a cutting board and carefully slice it in two (it will be steamy hot inside) and then drop the two halves into a toaster set on high. When it pops up, if not toasted the way you like, drop it down again only this time not on high but on medium.
  2. While the above is happening, take your egg, break it into a small bowl, add the milk and mix together and drop that into a small non-stick fry pan and scramble. When nearly cooked, lay the ham on top and on top of that lay the cheese and cover until the cheese has melted.
  3. Butter your toasted bagel and use a spatula to scoop out the egg/ham/cheese and lay that on top of one half of the bagel. Sprinkle with salt & pepper, hot sauce and cover. Cut in half and get ready to enjoy your Super Bagel which will be a meal in itself. If prepared for travel, wrap in alum. foil.

Condiments: Ketchup, Hot sauce
