So good that we are copying the recipe exactly as illustrated only, of course, we use Tinkyada Brown Rice Lasagna noodles. Ingredients: For Noodles: 6 uncooked lasagna noodles For Meat Sauce: 1 lb lean ground beef 1 lb bulk Italian port sausage 1 cup chopped onions 1 28 oz can Italian-style peeled tomatoes, undrained, cut up 1 6 oz can tomato paste 1 tsp dried basil leaves ½ tsp sugar ½ tsp dried oregano leaves ¼ tsp salt ¼ tsp garlic powder For Cheese Mixture: 2 eggs 1 (15 oz) container Ricotta cheese 1 cup cottage cheese ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese ¼ cup chopped fresh parsley (we substitute with 1 tbl dried) Cheese: 16 oz (4 cups) shredded Mozzarella cheese |
