Gluten Free Tostitos with Salsa

gluten free tostitos with salsa
Ingredients:
1 plate of Tostitos chips
½ cup shredded cheddar cheese
½ cup salsa
¼ pound ground beef (for meatless, hold the ground beef)
4 ounces Iceberg lettuce, chopped
3 tbls sour cream

Comment: This just evolved. First we took the chips and added cheese. Then salsa. Then ground beef. Then lettuce. Then sour cream. Next maybe some hot chili peppers. Anyway, it’s yours to do as you please but it is a great snack.

Preparation:
  1. In a small 8" fry pan, cook the ground beef breaking it up into small bits, drain.
  2. On a regular dinner plate, spread out chips, round side down.
  3. Spread cheddar cheese evenly over the chips.
  4. Micro for 40 seconds or until the cheese is melted.
  5. Spoon salsa over the chips/cheese – not evenly but a dab here and a dab there.
  6. Spoon cooked ground beef over chips.
  7. Sprinkle lettuce over chips.
  8. Dab sour cream over chips.
