Comment: There are numerous types of bacon sold in the markets including Thick Cut, Thin Cut, Smoked, Gourmet, Nitrate-Free, Canadian, Honey and Hickory flavored, etc., and we probably buy a different one each time. Bacon can be expensive so we look for the sales and use it not only for breakfast meals but also for BLT sandwiches, in some sauce recipes and on the top of our meat loaf (when the bacon is cooked the meat loaf is done). |

Preparation Tip: Note: An alternate way of cooking bacon is by using a cookie sheet pan, lined with parchment paper, lay the bacon in strips and back at 400 degrees until cooked. (Approx. 20 minutes). |
