Cooked meats like ham or salami can be added right into the eggs and heated that way. Bacon or sausage has to be precooked before adding and that takes 20 minutes. A side of home fires takes 20 minutes so what you plan to add will determine the length of time it takes to prepare. But the omelet recipe below, including meat prep time, takes 30 minutes. We suggest using an oversized 12 inch fry pan that makes it easier to ‘flip’ the omelet without destroying it. |
